First off, the price of the gaiter is right -- this one costs less than "name brands" from the Marine Store. But second, and better, the gaiter is more comfortable than more expensive gaiters that I own, is longer (thus more versatile in how I can use it) than others, and seems to provide better wind and water protection without being hot. I have only used this a few times since purchase a couple of weeks ago but I have had the chance to use it in hot weather (low 80s) and what passes as cold here (in the low 60s!).COMPLETE DISCLOSURE -- I was offered a good deal to buy this gaiter as long as I would write a review; I was not asked to write a good review, just write a review!
