This brush is very light and unassuming. The bristle design helps tremendously with tangles, something I have to battle multiple times per day. I usually cringe at the thought of brushing my hair out after a shower, since, it typically is a tedious and painful battle, but I commend the designers of these brushes. For the first time in my life I didn't have to spend 30 minutes of my day picking through my hair with a comb/brush, in front of a mirror, and ripping out multiple rats. The design of this brush cuts down on detangling time and did not cause me the pain that I am used to. Not to mention, it doesn't rip out a handful of hair every time I brush with it either.
