I loved Bailey & Kam’s story and was cheering for them since book 1 so I was happy their story was next in the trilogy. I really appreciated the fact that Rob & Wren played such a big part in book 2 and they did in such a natural way. I never thought the story line was choppy or jumped around but rather flowed very well to keep the story moving along at a good pace. One thing I love about Shannon’s writing is that the stories are so well developed and explained but never seem to drag along.This is again a clean romance as was the first but if you read the first in the series and loved it, you will most definitely love this one as well! I especially enjoyed how the book ended and I'm interested to see how that plays out (if it does) in the next book in the series. I’m excited to read Taryn’s story but wish it wasn't the last in the trilogy, I just love the Downings! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another very entertaining story *by D***I on Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2014* This second book in the series was another well written and beautiful story of learning to get through the past to find the love we all want and need. Such a great group of characters that brings so much to the story. Bailey was harboring a dark secret that no one knew about until she finally comes clean. She had been fighting her attraction to Jam out of fear of not being able to handle what he makes her feel and that he won't want to be with her once he knows her secret. Jam is so in love with Bailey that he is not giving up on her. They both make mistakes they learn from to find what they both are looking for. The author did a great job of telling their story and keeping the reader entertained from the beginning. It was funny...moving...and heartfelt. Very enjoyable read. I love the setting, characters and lighthearted feel. I also love that there isn't a long wait between books.I was glad to get Bailey and Kam's story. I loved Kam in the other books and I loved him in this one. I like a hero who goes after the girl and doesn't give up on her. He was a great leading man. I loved Bailey. She's had it hard and built up some walls. I was a little surprised by the serious turn the story takes, but I thought it was handled well. Never got too heavy or detailed. It makes you love Kam even more for how he handles everything and views Bailey. They really are cute together and have a sweet love story.
