I'm careful when I pull in the garage to drive directly over the mats and they catch any fluids from beneath my car. I had my garage floor professionally epoxy-coated, and this helps them keep looking great. I just move them when I need to sweep or clean my floor, and put them back in place. I live in a winter climate where it's common to pull into the garage with snow hanging from the bottom of my car and in the wheel well areas. It melts in there over night and doesn't hurt these mats at all. I bought some for my dad's garage too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does Not Show Oil Drips *by H***S on May 18, 2019* This mat seemed expensive but is worth the money. I have been using it for a couple of months and it really does a good job absorbing small oil drops from my old Land Rover. However, keep in mind it is lite and will be moved around by the wind if used outside. It will need to have weights put on it. Oil does not penetrate the mat to the concrete below. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Product *by M***5 on October 16, 2012* These mats are exactly as advertised.I have a 1990 Ford Explorer with a slow front-end oil leak. For many years I had large sheets of cardboard under the front end but when I redid the garage I decided to upgrade the cardboard. I bought two of the 3'x8' mats and placed them side by side, lengthwise, to form a "parking pad." The mats unrolled and laid perfectly flat. One mat was about two inches longer than the other but as the material cuts with household scissors I could fix that if I really wanted to.
