A: They are advertised as Proudly made in USA. Now whether the materials are 100 percent from USA I couldn't answer. I bought three of them different sizes two years ago. Love them.

**Q: How wide can the jaw open?  I need to loosen a tight sink drain nut**
A: Can handle a little over 2.5 inches. You need a little room to maneuver however since the wrench is 18+ inches long.
