What I found lacking in the reviews were comments on material thickness (which is why I got black), length and styling. Here we go:Material: The skirt half is thick enough that you can't see your panty line and as far as the black goes its not see through.Length: I am 5'6 and if I put the skirt at mid waist it stops at my heel. If I put it at my top rib its stops at the middle of my ankles.Styling: Even though most of the reviews say that the straps are too big, that is not the case for me. I have a 28' waist and it will only wrap around me twice maybe (depending on the style). They are really thick though but I like the coverage.I bought this dress as a test for my bridesmaids. Unfortunately, it is more of a summer dress for going to a nice bar instead of a wedding. For example I would wear this to Bleu Garten but not the Vast.
