This dam is tall enough to keep the shower curtain in place and also the water. It is made of vinyl so you won't hurt your foot walking over it. The attached adhesive holds well but we caulked on both sides anyway just to keep water from leaking under but you don't have to do this. It is very stable in place and is easy to cut to size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Cheaper than a Tile barrier *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2020* It was a little pricy but cheaper than adding the tile bar for sure. I read the comments and someone suggested using caulking, that’s the next step. I am waiting 24 hours before we do. I am pulling on one photo and you can see it’s not going anywhere. I am so excited to know that the water won’t be going pass the barrier. I’m glad I found this product here on amazon. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Installed easy, but came loose after a few weeks *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2022* It was easy to cut and install, but the glue came loose after a few weeks, and would not restick. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/177681516-new-collapsible-threshold-water-dam-bathroom-water-stopper-flood-shower](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/177681516-new-collapsible-threshold-water-dam-bathroom-water-stopper-flood-shower) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
