As seen in the photo one end was torn then taped. Totally expecting it to be broken when I removed the sleeve but it was in excellent condition, a miracle. I can only imagine that the box was damaged and removed. The other two Fiblink rods I ordered both came in boxes. Mounted an old Penn 209 and with 30lb braid launching 3 and 4 oz weights over 100 yards was easy. Can’t wait to get it on the beach and hook up!
