When it finally gave up the ghost a few weeks ago, I went back to Yamaha because they got it right the first time. Even though I had high expectations, I've still been delighted with the performance and practicality. It's well designed and solidly engineered. Lots of thoughtful in/out connections. I've seen some less than stellar reviews of this item when I was checking it out and, now that I've been using it, I get the sense that people who aren't fully satisfied are expecting something that this amp isn't. It's a practice amp. For that purpose, I can't imagine anything better than this.
