It has helped her to stay in her bed when she was unsure if it was night time still or daytime. This was recommended by my son's pre-school teacher when I was complaining that he was getting up way to early and was messing up all his routines. This little clock changed everything! As soon as this arrived I explained to my son that he should only get up from his bed when he saw the sun on the clock. If the moon was there he should stay in his bed. And it worked! Even though my son sometimes wakes before the sun appears on the clock he stays is bed until it does - he sees it like a game! So we get a bit more sleep in. And it helps with bedtime as well. When my son sees the moon on the clock he knows that it is time to get ready for bed and doesn't complain as much.
