Plus the pieces were slightly warped. So I asked which it was. The reply said Basswood, great just what I needed. Got the item, became a little skeptical by the laser burned edges. Placed under the knife blade yes in my cricut, to my surprise after 20 rounds it still hadn’t cut through. I took it out and tried using my X-acto blade, I’m not above a little hard work, guess what, it is plywood. Nope not balsa, not basswood, good old fashion switcharoo basswood plywood. Never would had noticed if I didn’t have to cut it myself. It splits off small layers as you cut. Real solid basswood doesn’t do that you can see in the picture on the top of the three images I’ve managed to cut through so far, thin layers have literally just cracked off. Under each piece is a different material. This is deceptive. I really wish there were honest sellers not trying to just grab peoples money. BE HONEST!
