A: every lock has 2 keys, but package has different 2 lock , so do not worry other keys can open all the desk

A: Mine were not. Each lock had a different key

**Q: Drawer won’t open after new lock installed. How do I go about getting it open?**
A: you may have installed the mechanism in the wrong position and forced the internal lock mechanism into the lock position. you may need to force the key to rotate to change the internal position of the locking mechanism. do this carefully because if you use too much force you could break the key. try both clockwise and counterclockwise movements.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard to find

These aren't the typical locks you find when trying to replace locks in a filing cabinet. I have a few of these formica style office cabinets. They're very sturdy and have lasted years. I needed to replace a few locks on them & it's not easy to find this exact style of lock--which is the only kind I can use in these cab's. They installed very easily. Fit the screw holes in my cabinets exactly. The screws that came with them were better than what I had in the originals. The only little issue was that the ferrule rings that fit into the front were not very deep at all. They have 4 little prongs that I was able to bend a bit and make them tighter. Two of the grommets that were in there needed to be replaced so I had to use these shallow ones. I'll pull them out and glue them in as well and they'll be fine after that; just wish they fit better, that's all. Overall I'm very pleased with these locks. Not anything high security, it's just so the drawers stay closed while moving so I keep the keys in them all the time. Would've been nice to find a set of four that ALL took the SAME key. Guess I'd need to go to a locksmith for that so these were a great bargain. ~JSV
