Review: Good quality material! - Measuring the dimensions of my dog is difficult to determine the size required to fit him. I ordered a large first, because I have heard that the length of my dog is what is most important when finding clothes. I did not find that with this particular coat. I had to send my first order back and then I reordered the medium. I should probably note that my order was received both times with a good quality tape measure. I have a Maltese, and the medium fit him pretty well. He's no longer shivering now and seems to have taking quite a liking to it. his overall movement in the coat is non-restricting. He can run and play just as much as he wants! Thanks so much, and I'm looking forward to checking out some more of your clothes for him in the future!

**Q: What size for my 9 lb Maltipoo with a poodle deep chest?**
A: I have a Yorkie, 11 lb and with a kind of pigeon chest :) and I bought a medium and it worked perfect. I hope that helps.

**Q: I have a 12 lb small dog witch size would best??**
A: I would try a medium.  My 5 pound Yorkie wears a Small and my 17 pound Silkie wears a Large.  They both fit perfectly and are nice and warm!  Hope you enjoy yours!

**Q: Can you use a harness**
A: There is a hole on the back for the harness/leash connection so yes, you can. The coat goes over the harness.

**Q: How well does this clear a male dog's penis? Does the underside of the coat get peed on?**
A: It is completely clear of my dogs penis. No pee has gotten on the coat no matter how he pees (squat or lift leg).

The coat is surprisingly soft on the inside, and waterproof on the outside. It's just what my dog needs for our snowy winters. The sizes run small, so order a size up from what you would normally get for your dog. I have a 15 pound miniature poodle, and I'm happy that I got the large size, as it fits him perfectly. It looks so cute on him, even the hood fits him well. I put it in the washer with delicate clothing on cool wash and rinse, and hung it up to dry. It holds up very well.
