It has characters that you come to really care about and story arcs that are both funny and show Yumi Unita's skill at capturing the joys and sorrows of parenting and the trials of being a teenager. Every volume has been a wonderful read. In Volume 9, we see Rin and Daikchi come to terms about their romantic feelings for each other and embark on a new adventure as a couple. Volume 10 is advertised as a trip down memory lane, which is true, and it fills in some gaps for the 10 year time leap between Volumes 4 and 5, and gives us a sense of what happens to everyone about 6 months after the end of Volume 9. It also contains an interview with Unita on the origins of Bunny Drop and how she developed the main characters, along with a discussion of the anime and live action movie based on the series. It's a real treat for Bunny Drop fans.As for the stories themselves, the first three take place before the time leap, when Rin and Kouki were around 6 years old. One tells how Kouki really came to have a scar on his forehead. Another has Daikchi, Rin, Kouki, and Nitani, Nitani, Kouki's mother, going to the aquarium. They really look like a family and, knowing that Nitani marries someone else 10 years later, makes the chapter very poignant. Chapter 4 is about how Masako, Rin's birthmother, meets her future husband and father of her second child. In Chapter 5, we discover how Kouki came to be the boyfriend of Akari, an event that broke Rin's heart. The final chapter gives us a glimpse of "where they are now." Kouki is home from college and Daikchi and Rin are married. The last page of the book shows the happy couple walking down the street together. The only thing that would have made a more perfect ending to the story would have been, as they fade down the street, Rin saying, "Daikchi, I'm pregnant." For me, this series is about as close to perfection as it gets in manga land. Three cheers for Yumi Unita. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of My Favorite Series *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2015* I read this based on the recommendation of a friend who had not read the manga, but had watched the anime. When I asked him about his thoughts on how the series ended he was floored. I wasn't, and I am one of those people who didn't freak out over how the series twisted and turned toward its ending. I actually found it quite poetic. As long as a reader has an open mind and realizes that there are all sorts of people in the world, then this is a really cute series that shows the growth of two, lost people who found one another. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good series *by L***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2015* I liked the first three or four series of Bunny Drop - it's cute. As the characters get older and the series progresses it gets a bit weirder. Wondering if the author looked further into the development of the character' future? Like having a family or the reaction of the other family members?
