The laser finder does what it needs to do, but does feel like it may need upgrading in the future...it doesn't feel like it could take too much abuse. The included eyepieces are OK, not the best you can get, but certainly do show the potential of the scope. Certainly look at upgrading the eyepieces in the future and including a barlow. The bag that is included I intended to replace straight away anyway. In my case, one of the clips on the straps was broke on arrival. So in short, great optics!. Good on planets. Can finally see the bands on Jupiter and Saturn! Nice and light, easy to bring in and out, so getting alot of use. Also a perfect travel scope that sees good detail. And I've even had a comment on the paint job. It is very pretty. Happy I chose this one. I mounted it on an explore scientific first light.
