A: of course not.

A: I just looked at the box and it does not state anything to that effect.  It has no allergy warnings of any kind on the box and ingredients are: water, sugar, one or more U.S. certified colors, modified corn starch, vegetable gum, citric acid and less than 1/10th of 1% sodium benzonate and potassium sorbate (as preservatives)

**Q: Are these made in the USA?  What about taste?**
A: They are made in the USA.  I haven't noticed a taste.  The colors are great and very vibrant.  I love them.

Fantastic quality of food dye gel. It has worked for buttercream, cookie dough, and dying rice flour. The wide variety of colors is really nice, and each color has multiple shades that can be easily achieved with just a few drops that mix in really easily.
