Very, very solid. Holds your phone gently, but extremely safe, with a locking click that lets you know it won't fall out. So there's also no worry if you use additional lenses attached to your phone. (I use SANDMARC lenses which are fairly heavy) Mounts on any tripod if you want additional support and lots of cold shoe mounts to hold shotgun mics, wireless mic receivers, lights or whatever you want to put on it. The Shoulderpod has a little weight to it which is very helpful when shooting handheld shots. It provides that extra ballast to steady your hands.
