This permits the sponge to become ‘full’ and allows the make-up product to remain on top instead of becoming absorbed into the sponge, therefore less product waste as it does not soak into the sponge. When the blender sponge is moist, it expands and becomes even softer, suitable for the most sensitive skin. When it dries, it will return to its original size.This is better than applying foundation with your fingers, because there is no mess and usually less waste. I find it works better than foundation brushes, because the bristles from a brush pick up more of the product, which sometimes leads to make-up streaks or blotches. The Eliimo sponge is easier and faster to clean, rinse and squeeze out, whereas a brush will get product stuck deep in the bristles, and the sponge air-dries faster too.To use, wet the Eliimo sponge with water, and squeeze the excess water out. I use the flatter base for my foundation, which goes on evenly without any thick patches. Since the sponge delivers less product, the thinner amount does NOT ‘cake up’ to accentuate fine lines, and instead I receive a smooth finish, which provides a much younger appearance. The Eliimo sponge is almost ‘egg-shaped’ with a flat base, and the rounded top tip is ideal for the contours around my nose, and close up to my bottom eyelid.Either the sponge base or the rounded sides work well for cream or powder blush. Depending upon the product, I have used the sponge either slightly moist and/or dry. When I apply the blush with a gentle sweep right beneath my cheekbones, the Eliimo blender sponge delivers a true professional airbrush finish.The Eliimo blender sponge is an ideal applicator to add to your make-up brush and tool collection, it is very soft and will not irritation sensitive skin. This sponge provides less product waste, and there is no mess. It blends both foundation and blush very evenly, and delivers a ‘streak-free’, flawless finish for a prettier and more youthful appearance.I received a sample blender sponge free for an evaluation; however, the usage, statements and opinions are mine and mine alone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works better than known brand sponges *by J***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2015* First the photo I have included shows a beauty sponge on the left, after only a month of use I've had to cut part of it off where it was crumbling. This sponge has a different feel it doesn't feel as weak as far as the durability. It comes in a super cute drawstring bag. I suggest getting the sponge wet, wringing dry really good and then blending in your foundation or even blush. I did have to wash it a few times before using because the dye does bleed out but no worries after washing it no longer had any dye. It's the first time I've used one that has this shape to it. It actually works better for the sides of the nose. It's easy to clean I use zote soap and then let dry.
