The cook times are also excellent, often completing in under 30 minutes, which has been a major benefit. While I wouldn’t recommend leaving rice on the ‘warm’ setting for more than 20 hours, I have done so on more than one occasion, to which the rice still maintained a fresh texture and taste, which speaks to its quality. Only complaint I really had was the expectation of the “singing” features not being available on this particular model. As I said above, my Korean friend who recommended it spoke highly of the Korean singing and talking his cooker did so I was really disappointed when I turned it on and there were no “jingles” lol… When the only complaint is that this rice cooker doesn’t sing to you, I think that should tell you all you need to know! And boy does this sucker work well. It creates nice high quality rice that can be quite sticky if prepared right. The Cook time is quick and it'll hold it warm at a good temperature for as long as you need. Its only a handful of button pushes to get it working, the only difficult part is trying to get the steam trap off the back! It requires more force than you would expect.
