I removed the screen protector as I usually do since I rely on a tempered glass screen protector. I doubt this case provides the protection that the SUPCASE and i-Blason which look very similar (but cost twice as much) do. I have a SUPCASE (Beetle Defense) for my iPad and it seems much more substantial.
