Each page has words that end in the same letters, just the first letter is different. I cover up the first letter, they say the ending sound, I uncover the first letter and they sound out that letter then say the word. A single funny sentence on one page makes it simple for them and they don't get overwhelmed. If they don't know a word, they can look at the picture cue. The illustrations are fun and so are the sentences. I thank the author for creating this book for kids.
