I found out a good way to tell if D&G are real is to look at the right lens (looking at them as if you were going to wear them) on the right side of the right lens you will see a serial number etched into the lens. If it's not there then it's not real. And while this sounds like it would be something hard to miss I never noticed it until I was told about it. Mine had this marking so I do believe they are real. However, please note I still am not a professional on this topic, just wanted to add that in there in hopes that it can help some people out.Bought these for my fiancee. I have yet to give them to her as they are a surprise for later but wanted to throw my 2 cents in the bucket here as there seems to be a bit of mixed reviews.These glasses look really nice, in my opinion. They are indeed very lightweight. I applied a little bit of pressure to the frame where the lenses are and tried a bit to twist the frame and that was a no go, so point being is that they do feel very sturdy and solid despite their light weight.The glasses did come with an extremely nice hard case and a fabric bag to store them. The box all that came in was also very nice with their name printed on a bit of fabric which was attached to the top. The certificate of authenticity was also included as well as standard care/guarantee books in multiple languages.The model numbers and etc are also printed on one of the arms just like the amazon pictures show. So all in all as far as I can tell it looks really authentic and I think anyone other than a D&G employee would be able to tell if it was fake, which I seriously doubt, granted I'm far from an expert.Personally, I have a pair of nice Nike sunglasses that I paid a very similar price for and while the glasses themselves do share same nice build quality I got a cheap plastic box to store them in which the hinges broke in less than a week and the presentation of them just wasn't anywhere near as well done. So, I have to say, I recommend these completely based on style, build quality, presentation and as much as I can tell authenticity. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and good craftsmanship *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2014* At first, when I opened the box and tried them on, I was astonished by how large the sunglasses were. I thought they would be more of a Ray-Ban size, but these are a little larger...more similar in size to Butterfly-style sunglasses. The craftsmanship is great, and I love the wave detail on the sides of the sunglasses. I love that the D&G is not obnoxiously stamped on the sides of the sunglasses, and it very delicate looking. The sunglasses come in a sturdy case, with a fabric bag in the case to put your sunglasses in. All in all, the sunglasses are growing on me, and I think they are a classic, beautiful look.
