After applying the wig I decided my eyebrow could use a lift. Thus I did brow lift after the pic with wig and didn’t reapply wig for photo shoot by accident. oops. Tips 1. Be sure and use alcohol on your skin where you want to place the tapes. I had to lift and replace once and that didn’t work out so well the be careful applying right where you want them. I clip hair back so I can see and not get hair stuck in tape. 2. Figure out the placement first by pulling on skin from various directions so you don’t fold skin oddly before applying. The angle and tightness of the elastics over your head for check lift is important and different for each person. Experiment. 3. For the eye brow lift, I used a claw hair clip in the back of my head to encore the elastic (from a second set) 4. After I use them I reload them right away so when comes time to do my make up next time it takes me no time to apply. To reload I take old tape off the elastics with a seam ripper, cut and thread the new tapes on. Figure out which side is the paper side and thread metal staple to that side for better camouflage when you apply to skin. I keep alcohol, tissues, seam ripper and scissors all together with tapes. Fast and easy. 5. Buy 2 sets so you can do 3 areas if desired. Neck, checks and brow if you want to. 6. I would advise you to tape refills too. You don’t want to run out of tapes when you need them. I wish they sold the tapes in bigger lots and cheaper. Kind of silly $6-$7 for 10 tapes. But I have looked and these work the best. If I find them cheaper I will buy! 7. Removing the tapes; Ouch. Don’t pull up. Draw and roll across skin slowly and hold skin down with your other hand. Leaves sticky residue. Spirit gum remover works to get it off. Then wash with soap and water. Unfortunately my plan was a bust as the casing for this product wound up being more useful than the product was itself. We followed the directions to a tee, and I'm confident that scotch tape could do a better job at lifting someone's face and neck than Art Harding's Instant Face Lift and Neck Lift kit. The adhesive strips didn't even stick more than five minutes, not to mention that the width of the strips made them hard to disguise. Hands down, this product was the worst one I've ever spent my money on. But I did get a refill set right away just so I didn't run out. **Q: Has anyone used cosmesearch neck and jaw tape? it's works so well until i wear them daily. these cost more i'd like to know if they are any better...** A: I just bought the Cosmesearch lifts to see the difference. The Cosmesearch has a Hook to hold the bands together. The tapes are also larger. You have to nip the one hole from the tape. There are two holes. I don't know why there are 2, if you always have to cut one. I have both Art Hardings facelift kit too. It is very comfortable. Going to send for another. I can lift eyes and jawline. Also Cosmesearch offers eye lift bands . Haven't tried it. The Cosmesearch lifting band has knots that you place the hook around. Check out Mathias Alan on u-tube. He is a makeup artist and uses these tapes on his Mom. He does her makeup and hair, and she looks somewhat like Liz Taylor. Great makeup lessons for women in their 50's and 60's. I used the eyelift tapes on my sister. She dropped 15 years instantly. I wear mine all the time. I wear wigs too, so makes it even easier to hide bands, and I only wear very short styles. **Q: Hello are they pre assembled** A: no they didn't. they are just piece of shiet!..what a waste spended my money! **Q: Can you use the tape more than once?** A: No! The tape sticks well for 6-8 hours, depending on your skin chemistry (oil output), but that's about it (and if you're dancing or sweating even less). And to remove, you often have to soak the outer parts of the tape with alcohol to get the tape to loosen--which totally ruins it.
