Review: Well made! - Can't ask for a better replacement for steel cable winch rope. Strong and you don't have to worry about metal slivers and cuts if you have to handle it while retracting it.The length is great for longer recovery distances. A great price as well.
Review: Heat wrap could be longer, otherwise great! - First, an item within your control: the red heat wrap is only long enough to cover half of the first layer of wrap around the drum. Meaning that half of the first layer of wrap is rope directly on drum. Make the heat wrap longer please. And then send me a new one after you make that update. Hence the 3 star review on heat resistance. Second, and item not entirely within your control. I was replacing a steel cable which had a short "set screw" holding the cable in the slot. Synthetic cables mount differently, which required a different style of screw, so I had to get that from the hardware store. But then the hole in the mounting end of the rope wasn't big enough to accept the screw so I had to drill it out a little. I had to go to 21/64" in order to clear the M10 attaching screw. Make the hole a little bigger, please. I realize you can't know what size screw each whinch will need, but making the hole a little bigger is a really easy manufacturing change. Otherwise it’s appears to be a fantastic winch rope, would recommend.

**Q: Is this genuine dyneema uhmwpe?**
A: Yes, this winch rope made of 12 strands braided ultra tough dyneema.

**Q: Can I have one special ordered with hooks on either end??**
A: It comes with a steel eyelet on one end and the one I purchased came with a 5 ton hook for the other.

**Q: Does this rope floats in water? I want to use it to tow my inflatable boat.**
A: I haven't had this rope in a deep enough spot for long enough to check fully for buoyancy. In the shallows that I have had it in did seem to stay uptop with the exception of the hook. Synthetic rope - isn't very poorius so I would think it wouldn't float for very long after the air gaps in the rope was filled by water.  I can tell you it handles 12,000 lbs with no problems!

**Q: Can anyone please recomend a Hand crank or winch to put iton as it is 100 ft?would be used to pull in our dingy. Thanks**
