A: Short answer, yes.  Long answer is NI-MH is a newer type of battery make up that can hold power longer than the older Ni-cd batteries.

**Q: Does anyone know if this battery will work in older Tyco 9.6V Turbo R/C cars?**
A: I have one Tyco car that has 15 years old and the new battery works perfect (also the size is the same one).

**Q: would it work for my mega-x morphibian?**
A: It certainly will if your original battery looks like this one. The 2000mAh will run longer than say 1600mAh. It will not hurt your unit.

**Q: I lost the charger for Spike and really need to get a compatible one. Is there any charger that will work?**
