Also do you have to join the strips with tape** A: In my limited experience I also think it holds water, don't know about smell. I didn't use tape preferring pegs (U shaped). May be ok if used with a porous substrate! **Q: How much does the roll weigh, as I need to send this abroad** A: I don’t know how much it weights, however the product description should tell you.
