The pegs are farther apart than ideal for each pair of our 4 skis though, so I've added cork handlebar tape to the pegs to hold the skis closer to their natural contact points. Since writing that, the manufacturer has done everything to make it right, including sending me a new ski rack without me having to pay for shipping, and they did a personal follow-up with me to ensure I was 100% satisfied, which I am. This is a great rack at a great price. I'm not sure what the other customer is complaining about. Spacing is appropriate for modern skis, and I did not have to wood glue any pegs. Even if I needed to use a little glue, it wouldn't have been a big deal considering the great price. Thanks to Woodform for saving me a couple (or more) hours of my own time putting together a homemade rack.
