It is a nice true ivory color and smells nutty and warm, just of a pure Shea Butter aroma, nothing more and nothing less. It is wonderfully smooth and easy to use. My favorite use for Shea Butter is to use as is, by itself, on my feet and elbows at night. If I don't use Shea Butter on my feet, my poor feet are just too dry for me to sleep. Nothing else works as well. This is thick and rich and stays on my feet all night. If you are one who can wear socks, do so to keep your sheets pretty, but I can't, so it does get on the sheet. I am okay with that. Sleep is worth it. This is a lovely, smooth, creamy Shea Butter. I'm glad I gave it a try. I am very happy with it.
