I used it with my boyfriend on a cross country trip and it kept all of our stuff in one place. I'm used to splitting the toiletries between our bags and then inevitably losing/forgetting where we put things. This bag was very helpful! We did not put it in a suitcase so I can't speak to how it performs like that but it held most everything we needed. Two cons: in the main compartment area there are mesh pockets to hold tubes of toothpaste, lotions, shampoos, or deodorant. Basically two rows, 3 in each row. Deodorant fits it the center pocket of the front row, but because of the tightness of the pocket nothing will fit in the pocket/row of pockets behind. Second, I do believe this would be a slight issue with all and any hanging travelers similar to this, but as you have it full or partially full and while hanging it sits/hangs at an odd angle down and away from the wall/door behind.
