    A Dangerous Honeymoon

    A honeymoon couple dives on the reefs off of Bermuda looking for a sunken ship, but what they find turns out to be a lot more interesting. And a lot more deadly!I really liked this book. I saw the movie in a theater in 1977, and I recently saw it again. A friend mentioned that the book was better, so I came to Amazon and found an old, out-of-print copy for sale. My friend was right--the book is better than the film, and very exciting. I like the young couple, David and Gail, and Romer Treece, the old reef expert who helps them. There's a lot of action, in and out of the water. I grew up on a tropical island and spent a lot of time scuba diving, so I could relate to all this.I actually enjoyed this as much as JAWS, Peter Benchley's other famous thriller. He wasn't a great writer, but he was a good, solid storyteller. I hope they make THE DEEP available as an ebook so I can recommend it to all my friends with reading devices. In the meantime, see if you can find an old paperback copy. It's a great beach book!

    A great Marvel comic adaptation of the 1977 movie “The Deep”. The plot sticks to the movie pretty close from start to finish. If you enjoyed the novel, movie - or even just comics. This rare once in a lifetime printing is worth the money.
