## Description

3M Silver Tape is backed with aluminum foil and rubber adhesive for sticking perfectly to the surfaces. The aluminum backed tape features a high-tack, pressure sensitive adhesive that bonds equally with regular, irregular, smooth and powder-painted surfaces. This silver tape is ideally used for patching and seaming tears in sheet metals, metal ducts, aluminum backed fiberglass and thermal insulation systems. Insulation tape has high heat reflectivity and thermal conductivity features to protect heat-sensitive apparatus from vermin, high and low temperatures, moisture, and fire smoke. The 5 yd. long and 1 in. wide heat-reflective tape can be used in all weather conditions.

Review: Great for electric guitar grounding - I used this for grounding on a couple of electric guitars. Yes, copper shielding tape is more of the standard for that kind of thing, but this tape was much cheaper and got the job done. In one case, the switch, volume and tone pots, and the output jack were all mounted on the pickguard with no shielding, leading to some small but noticeable hum. I made a pseudo control plate on the bottom of pickguard with this tape, and it works great. The other case was where a bridge was grounded via a small wire touching the bridge posts and the control plate, and using the vibrato could cause it to come ungrounded. Running some of this tape from the post to the control plate, and letting the wire sit on top of the tape, provided the extra protection needed. Nice stuff and highly recommended!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used it to fix Samsung fridge

Watched a YouTube video to fix a common problem with ice maker in Samsung fridges where you needed to take it apart and seal the gaps internally with some aluminum tape. This does the job perfectly as it's not too wide so easier to handle, and while not a lot, is more than enough for this particular job (had plenty left). As a side note, the hack completely fixed my ice maker water leaking problem!
