The mechanism to tighten or loosen the bags is a twist, which some people using it have found confusing or frustrating, it can tangle the leash a bit if your not familiar with it. Also, my BF didn't like how low on the leash it would slide, so he had to tie a knot in the leash to keep it up higher, closer to his hands. Easy to remove and replace the poop bags.
