Product Description The epoxy resin E45 offers a wide range of applications Laminating applications in the automotive sector, model making and repair work, sealing work in hobby and crafts, sealing work in the floor area or coating of wooden surfaces, potting but also sealing furniture, table tops and various Interior furnishings, casting of electrical circuits or Insulation of electrical clamping points. The right mixing ratio mixing ratio (weight components): 100 g resin / 45 g hardener mixing ratio (volume proportions): 100 ml resin / 45 ml hardener pot life (processing time): at 20 °C approx. 30-45 min. Start of curing after approx. 45 minutes (depending on temperature), final strength after approx. 36 - 48 hours (depending on temperature). Usage tip We recommend watering no more than 1 cm layer thickness per pass. If you want, for example, 3 cm layer thickness, you should first pour 1 cm. After about 6-8 hours, you can pour the second 1 cm layer and after another 6-8 hours, then the third 1 cm layer. This prevents the resin from overheating and unwanted cracks. In the end, you will not see any demarcation of the individual layers and have a clear transition. Winter Usage Tip To achieve the best result, you should use the resin exclusively for room or Mix room temperature. If the resin and hardener are too cold (below 5°C), the process of curing may be delayed or even exposed. Perfect universal resin for rivertables, coatings, jewellery and floors. Review: quality German made product - i haven't tested the product yet but what i received looks like a quality product. well packaged and the supplied gloves were not the expected flimsy plastic ones, but proper work gloves. a multilingual glossy instruction booklet is supplied with it and it is clear and easy to understand, unlike the poor chinese translations we are used to. i'll come back and adjust my feedback when i've had a chance to test it both in casting and laminating EDIT: laminating... not a chance! Sets way too slowly to be practical. Casting though was flawless, takes a LONG time to set fully but water clear no problem

**Q: Hi , I need to cover a bottle top table so around 7mm thick just over 0.6m square . Would this kit be enough ?**
A: Yes this should be enough for you. 
Poor a first layer 3-4mm thick, torch and leave to set. 
Repeat for final coat.
This way you’ll get all air bubbles out. 
Really really seal well because this will find any gaps to get out mind!

**Q: there are a lot of confusing contradictions in your descriptions '2.25kg' item volume '100 ml' which is only a 10th of a ltr and package size at 2kg?**
A: I use this regularly, I think the combined weight of the resin and hardener is 2.25kg. The 100ml is your base ratio 100ml resin, 47ml hardener. Hope this helps

**Q: can I use this product to encase a plastic scale model?**
A: I've not tried this personally but I don't see any reason why not.  Simply put your model into a suitably sized mould and pour the resin around and give it plenty of time to set before removing it from the mould.

**Q: Is this suitable for injecting into gaps under my pine parquet floor to re-adhere it? The parquet is stuck with bitumen.**
A: Epoxy is a gap-filling glue because it sets by chemical reactio rather then evaporation. But to get it to fill gaps under a parket floor would be a very tedious job. It would be better to cut out/chissel out the part of the parquet flooring and put down suitable matching planks. Be prepated to lug heavy weights to press the new planks down untill the glue has set.

Absolutely the best resin I've used, and more for your money. I'm ordering my 3rd batch of it. Just a shame it's often out of stock. Clear resin, easy to weigh out. Runnier than others but if you leave it a while will thicken if you need it to. Hardly any smell, sets quickly and able to demould in less than 24 hours. I'm just about to try the deep pour as I'm so impressed with this make. Bubbles also disperse by themselves quickly. Would defo recommend. i haven't tested the product yet but what i received looks like a quality product. well packaged and the supplied gloves were not the expected flimsy plastic ones, but proper work gloves. a multilingual glossy instruction booklet is supplied with it and it is clear and easy to understand, unlike the poor chinese translations we are used to. i'll come back and adjust my feedback when i've had a chance to test it both in casting and laminating EDIT: laminating... not a chance! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovey clear, easy to use resin

This resin is fabulous, mixes very easy and goes clear after about 90 seconds of mixing (but still mix for 3mins). The resin is quite thin and therefore the colours may run more and not very good for covering a canvas for example as it just runs off, although it is self leveling. Found this very good for casting and coasters or dishes. Dries to a tough, clear, shiny finish.. Which is what everyone wants. I also found that on some pours it left a film or scaley like bits but think that's due to the room temp being too low.
