They are going on my mailbox post to stabilize a spring that protects against the mailbox being smashed by snow plows.There is one suggestion to improve the planters and that is to add offsets to the drain holes so that the planter doesn't completely drain its water but holds an inch or two in the bottom. The planter I had before had this.
