Although it is sturdy and well built, the lenses are not labeled, so there is no practical way to identify the correct lens for a specific task, so I end up pulling them all out in a fan shape and then choosing the lens that works best. In my opinion, the Carson GN-44 is a better product since all 3 lenses are built into a single flat square, so you just pull out the one square and use whichever lens you prefer. Consequently, I would recommend the GN-44 over the TV-36, but that is a personal preference.
