My naturopathic veterinarian suggested this product and it is so much easier to give than the huge potassium pill that my traditional vet prescribed. It has a "yummy" fish flavor so my cat likes to take this medicine and it's great to have one less pill to have to make him deal with. Daily subcutaneous fluids, a phosphorous binder, and this product have saved my cats life. He is thriving and his potassium levels have stayed level for the last six months. She needs what it has, especially the potassium and, while she doesn't like the ritual of having it squirted into her mouth, she doesn't seem to mind the flavor at all. She won't accept it in her food, but that is no surprise with this little girl.
