Doesn't sound like much, but it's supposed to be flush and never was. These all fit perfectly, not to mention my 3DS XL looks like a SNES and the purple one in this pack matches perfectly. They all sit flush!
Review: These do not work for original 3DS XL's - I have an original, black 3DS XL and these did not fit in the stylus slot. It will say on your 3DS if it is "new" or not. They work great as styluses, but make sure you're not getting these if you have the wrong system.

A: Yes, it works on both my 2DS & 3DS handhelds.

**Q: will this work on a 3ds**
A: Only the New 3DS XL

**Q: can i use my fingernails instead of these?**
A: I can't recommend using your fingernails on the screen. The fingernail scratches the touchscreen and the screen becomes less usable over time. Using a stylus will never scratch the screen unless the stylus itself is dirty or damaged.

**Q: Will this work for regular N3DS?**
A: No. In fact they don't work for the XL either. They're not even all the same shape and size. I would skip these and find a better option.
