**Q: How do i stop the brewing process if the grounds are still in the carafe?  Buy a separate container to store the cold brew once i plunge?**
A: I just leave the grounds in the bottom of the container. I have a cold brew coffee every afternoon, and by the third day, it’s time to make more. Leaving the grounds in the bottom has not adversely affected the quality of the coffee.

**Q: My carafe does not fit in the upper rack of the dishwasher. Is it safe for the bottom rack? With heat drying?**
A: Depends on your dishwasher heat settings. It’s easier to wash by hand honestly.

**Q: Is it possible to replace the press lid? Mine split in half 3 days past the return window :(**
A: Probably not. Call Bodum. Good thing it isn’t expensive

**Q: How do i take apart the plunger part to clean? Im afraid I got dish soap inside of where you pour coffee.**
A: The top and plunger separate easily.  I simply wash the plunger with soap and water.  It is every easy for me.
