I put the Velcro rounds on the suction cups and attached them to my helmet so I would be ready to go the next time I rode. I set the helmet aside for a few days. When I came back, the helmet had both sides of Velcro tabs on it (sticky side exposed and gathering dust) and the pigtails lay neatly next to it on the floor. Hadn't even ridden with the derned things on yet and they just fell off spontaneously!I have another set like these for my other helmet. The suction cups alone hold a little better than the velcro, but they still pop off too easily for my taste, so I super-glued them to both helmets (both shiny helmets, so it's not about surface texture). Not planning on riding without they anyhow.I wear them for sassy style and as a visibility aid. People notice a pair of pigtails flapping in the breeze more than an unadorned helmet. I've noticed fewer close-calls with cars when I wear pigtails than when I don't and more drivers smile and wave at me in amusement... I'm getting noticed by drivers, which is the main thing.I like that this set included a couple of no-pull ponytail holders so you can brain them without having to dig into your stash of ugly rubber-bands (this makes them last longer as loose poly "hair" will fray more quickly then braids when flying in the wind.)Note: Both my helmets are modular. One helmet has plenty of smooth space for the tails, but the other one has aerodynamic curves that interrupt the smooth surface just where I would have wanted to put them... this means that I had to put them further forward slightly and now the modular chin-guard bumps up against the roots of the tails when lifted, so I try not to lift my chin-guard for fear of damaging the tails. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love them!! *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2019* Perfect!!!
