I was hunting with a friend and we were both lucky enough to harvest a pronghorn that day. I had four of these bags and he didn't bring anything. They were big enough that I was able to fit two quarters of the animal in each bag, so I used two and gave the other two to my buddy. The bags worked great for both of us and I can't think of any cons or negatives about them, so I'll be taking more of these on my hunts this year as well. I highly recommend them for hunting pronghorn, deer, or similarly-sized big game animals, but you'd need a bigger size if hunting something larger like elk or moose. Review: Keep meat neat - Lightweight bags with tight enough weave to keep insects dirt and grass off my meat, but loose enough to breathe. A little difficult to clean tallow from the bag, but otherwise easy to clean. Tough enough to lift an entire quarter plus backstrap (if you leave enough material). I find these (deer, antelope and sheep size) to be more than big enough for a deer/antelope quarters, and big enough just just fit the length of a front elk quarter. Personally I think these are easier to get meat into than pillow-cases, and I like how they conform to the meat. These DO NOT prevent blood from dripping, so must be used in conjunction with a garbage bag when hauling in a backpack (if you care to keep your pack clean). ## Features - A superior game bag made from stronger, lighter, more durable material. - Alaska Game Bags are super tough, highest quality game bags and tailored to specific animals - A game bag that is compact, odor free, and can be reused. - Keeps bugs, dirt, predators, and adverse weather away from fresh meat. - USA Made ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000ZKU7B2 | | Best Sellers Rank | #216,044 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #274 in Hunting Game Belts & Bags | | Brand | Alaska Game Bags | | Brand Name | Alaska Game Bags | | Color | Beige | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 652 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00646505000079 | | Item Dimensions | 6 x 4 x 6 inches | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 6 x 4 x 6 inches | | Manufacturer | Northern Game Bags | | Manufacturer Part Number | AGB-DSC448 | | Material | Moose Hide | | Material Type | Moose Hide | | Model Number | DSC448 | | Number of Items | 4 | | Number of Packs | 4 | | Number of Pieces | 4 | | Number of Players | 1 | | Set Name | 4-Pack | | Specific Uses For Product | Hunting and transporting game | | Style | Classic | | Style Name | Classic | | UPC | 646505000079 | | Unit Count | 4 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Moose Hide - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 6 x 4 x 6 inches - **Style:** Classic - **Color:** Beige - **Brand:** Alaska Game Bags ## Images ![Alaska Game Deer, Antelope and Sheep Bags, 48-Inch (Pack of Four) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ndFrbHoCL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Looking for quarter bags, that will be freezer safe for a short amount of time. Do you see any issues doing that with these bags?** A: It would have to be for a very short time as these bags are breathable and would not prevent frost burning. If you have time, I would chill the meat in a refrigerator, let it age for a while, then cut it up and put in vac seal bags for best results. Good luck! **Q: Do these bags prevent flys from laying eggs on the meat if the bag is left out?** A: Yes, at least for one day. We were then able to put the meat (still in the bags) inside a walk in cooler after that. **Q: Are these machine washable** A: I am not sure if you are supposed to but I have machine washed mine. They have held up well **Q: Can tese bags be used for elk?** A: Absolutely... Used these for years for Elk! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Game Bags *by C***P on September 28, 2020* I used these game bags on a pronghorn hunt last year and they were exactly as advertised. These held an entire large doe antelope- total of about 31# usable trimmed meat and about 20lbs scrap meat and bones- so a sizeable antelope. These gamebags held up perfectly, allowed the meat to breathe and cool without letting in dirt in the field and was easy to untie and wash when done. Glad I bought two bags as I needed about 5 total. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/18030258-alaska-game-deer-antelope-and-sheep-bags-48-inch-pack](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/18030258-alaska-game-deer-antelope-and-sheep-bags-48-inch-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
