The colors look great, we have our board hung on the wall in the kitchen/dining area and our old farmhouse and it looks nice and is very useful. These markers just ruined a brand new chalkboard I bought to update my nightly menu. Maybe I got a bad batch or maybe the neon colors which are the ones I have, have more staying power. Either way, it clearly states on the package that it "wipes easily with water." I wiped with water, then scrubbed with water, then resorted to a disinfecting wipe and STILL the marker is easily visible. I have a picture that shows the piggy chalkboard after all attempts at water- and wipe-scrubbing. I'm sure if I spent an hour wiping it down, I could get more color out, but then that means it doesn't "wipe EASILY with water", does it? Email me if you'd like to see a photo if the chalkboard after cleaning. The kids and I are going kind of nuts with them! They even wipe off of walls and skin (don't ask me how I know this already). I was worried because they were a little expensive, but I am more than pleased with the quality. We'll see how long they last. Because they are water-based, I imagine you can "recharge" them if they dry out.
