Review: Not bad brightness - I mean, you get what you pay for obviously. They are OK for the money. A bit flimsy, but have a good brightness. I have ordered these a few times. Order a large roll of 3M double sided tape with them. They tend to not like to stick well. I give them 5 stars. The first time, I would have been frustrated..but working with them several times now, I know what I need to do to make them great.
Review: You need to buy these before they go away - I bought these to replace a bad led light strip on the mudflap of my pickup truck. As luck would have it, it was a direct replacement. These days I want to bring as much attention to my brake lights as I can with everybody’s head buried in their phones. I replaced both left and right strips for uniformity. I cleaned the surface with alcohol before applying the strips and one adhered nicely. It was a cold damp day and by the time I finished wiring the second one the adhesive did not stick as well and I ended up using spray contact cement to make it stick the following day when the rain had stopped. This is a great product for a very reasonable price. It would be silly not to buy it if this is what you are looking for.

Surprisingly, they all worked. They aren't "super bright" by any means, more of a pleasant glow. I used them as interior lights in the cargo area of my Cherokee, but they are not bright enough to rely on to find specific items in a bag. Not disappointed, but I did expect them to be brighter. First thing I did was peel off the generic adhesive, and put on automotive strength 3m. There are literally three conductors in each wire. Soldering was a challenge, forget about using butt connectors, the wires are so thin, the connectors wouldn't be able to get a bite on them.
