It is really best used for stamping. But if you had nothing else, it would work. **Q: Is this good for uv/led top coats and lamps ?** A: The polish is not gel but you can put a gel top coat over it **Q: What size is the brush - Is it real narrow or is it a broader brush that covers a wider area?** A: The brush is sort of normal width, with good definition. Definitely not wide. Note that this product is meant for stamping so it makes sense to have a brush that does not dispense a lot of product. This brand is my go-to, it never fails to stamp well.
