I know this type of hose doesn't last forever, typically 2 years (tested theory with me, mum and sister over about 10 years). They invariably spring a leak around this period. However, this hose exploded after less than 2 months use, halfway down. I guess it was cheaper than others, but disappointing nonetheless.
