So once you heat it, manipulating it becomes more difficult. A hairdryer will in fact work. **Q: can this be used on car roof top ? will it harm the paint?** A: i bought this wrap but i didn't read too carefully and bought an interior wrap for the hood it's holding up well but make sure you get the EXterior wrap and not the IN terior wrap .it's a good product ! **Q: I have built a home arcade with birchwood. Will this adhere to that wood?** A: It should, especially if it's finished either with a gloss or a shellac. The most important part is that it's got a flat dry and smooth surface to adhere to it is adjustable meaning that wanted stock down it's not ruined if you take it back off again unless you add heat to shape it around something but if it's just flap down you can pull it back up and reposition it and then sometimes just adding a little bit of heat evenly across it with a hair dryer helps tighten it up. As far as unfinished wood where it might pourous oh, I couldn't tell you as I've not tried it myself but possibly, it's not like a conventional adhesive like you think like decals it's like a tacky backing that allows you to pull it back up and reposition so it's not super sticky but maybe if you put it down and it did it here even if it was slight and then you ended up pouring on a thick layer of urethane that would be pretty cool looking **Q: why does it say it will last 5-7 years outdoors and marine safe but it also says interior use only like desk or cabinet?** A: There is an interior and exterior version.
