Its delay characteristic is maintained in the circuit when it has a non-fault pulse current and can protect against long-term overload. Some circuits have a current greater than a few times the normal operating current at the switching instant. Althoughthis current peak is very high, it occurs for a short period of time.We call it a pulse current or an inrush current or a surge current.Ordinary fuses can not withstand such currents. If such a circuituses an ordinary fuse, it may not be able to start normally. If a larger fuse is used, it will not be protected when the circuit is overloaded. The melt of the time-delay fuse is specially processed to absorbenergy. By adjusting the energy absorption, it can resist the inrushcurrent and protect the overload. Review: Good quality - Good quality parts Review: Fuses do what fuses do - A bit pricey but that's what we get for buying small items from desertcart. Definitely way cheaper in a hardware store. ## Features - BOJACK 20 Pcs High Quality Slow-blow Glass Fuse - Fuse Dimension: 5x20mm/0.2x0.78 Inch - Fuse Current: 4A - Fuse Voltage: 250V - Package Quantity: 20 pcs Packed in a plastic storage case ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | AC adapter current | 4 Amps | | ASIN | B07Z6B774K | | Best Sellers Rank | 12,275 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 40 in Fuses & Holders | | Brand | BOJACK | | Country Of Origin | China | | Current Rating | 4 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 313 Reviews | | Manufacturer | BOJACK | | Manufacturer Part Number | BJ-SBT | | Material | Glass | | Maximum Current | 4 Amps | | Model Number | BJ-SBT-4A | | Mounting Type | Through-Hole Mount | | Mounting type | Through-Hole Mount | | Number of Items | 20 | | UPC | 769390172161 | | Voltage | 250 Volts | ## Product Details - **AC adapter current:** 4 Amps - **Brand:** BOJACK - **Material:** Glass - **Mounting type:** Through-Hole Mount - **Voltage:** 250 Volts ## Images ![BOJACK T4AL250V 5x20mm 4A 250V Slow Blow Fuses 4 Amp 250 Volt 0.2 x 0.78 Inch Glass Tube Time-delay Fuses(Pack of 20 Pcs) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OO2oMmVIL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by N***L on 28 July 2026* Good quality parts ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fuses do what fuses do *by D***E on 28 September 2021* A bit pricey but that's what we get for buying small items from Amazon.
