One, it'd be easier to keep clean (the silicon one I had attracted every kind of dirt and debris you could imagine and it was annoying AF); and two, even more durable.I love the graphic on it, which is exactly as pictured, and it is very sturdy. So far, it's kept my AirPod case safe and I'm not careful either. I just throw it in my purse, and I keep a full purse. It's easy to put on, too. I do wish there was a cover for the plug-in port but I couldn't find any hard case that actually had that so...
