    I have warned several pair of these out over my military career.  They have been one of the most comfortable boots I've worn except 2 Reebok.  The only downfall of that I have had with these boots over the years is that eyelets.  The souls are long-lasting and wear out in about 3-4 years after daily use of eight to 10 hours a day. In about 3 years the islet start getting worn and sharpen slightly causing the boot to cut the laces after 4 to 6 weeks of daily and heavy use.  The islets Never Tear out of the boots though and that is a huge Plus for this style.  That is a small price to pay for the reliability and comfort I have experienced with several pairs of these boots.  I will continue to buy them as long as they continue to make them and deal with this minor side effect!
