**Q: Is it safe to eat food grown in these?  What kind of plastic is this?**

**Q: What do you use as a dome?  Is there one that you bought separately that fits this tray?**
A: I always use a dome and get better result I buy the domes at B&T Grower Supply they are very durable and strong and fit perfectly...I am counting the days til I start my seeds this years!!

**Q: are these made of hard plastic? they are not the cheap 2.oo ones at the stores?**
A: They seem a LITTLE tougher than the store ones, or at least some of them.  But I would not count on using them for more than a couple of seasons.  Pat of the issue is that plastic breaks down in sunlight.  Well if you raise plants in them ..unless you sre doing mushrooms, there is light.

**Q: What is the depth of the tray?**
A: 2.25" to the support ribs with another .25" for drainage of excess water.

>My first concern was that my cell packs wouldn't fit in the trays. They did. The width was a perfect size, and it was a little longer in the length, but this allowed me to push each row to the alternate side and leave about a1" gap that I use to fill in with water when low.>My second concern was that the trays would be received damage (I, too, read the reviews). I got lucky, my trays were in great condition.>Third was a concern about its sturdiness and durability. Well, it's not made of the thickest stuff in the world - it's not going to last but a few years, but if I take a modicum of care I do expect that I will get a few years out of it. I've had worse.>Added bonus: They wholly hold my current trays. These trays hold my cell packs snugly, and they have drain holes. If I need, these trays will fit into my new trays that hold water. This proves very helpful for me.<>Side Note - I bought mine on sale. I wouldn't pay full price, I don't think it's worth their asking price; but it IS worth it when they deeply discount the price.
