Review: FOAM REPLACEMENT - The old green foam does not last long. The new white sponge foam is not very functional. Poor replacement so I purchased a brick of green florist foam on desertcart and cut off a section that would fit inside the plastic cartridge which I carefully cut open along the glued seam with a utility knife. The cartridge works great and now it’s very easy to replace the foam when needed at a very cheap cost. After replacing the green foam the cartridge snaps back together. No need to keep buying cartridges that don’t last. Now the cartridge is EVERLASTING PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!

I have been using these for years. The last two I bought will not hold water and you continually have to soak them every couple days. When I spoke to the company the first time, they said there was a problem with the solution they use and they knew about the issue. They told me a bunch of steps I should do to try to make the cartridge more absorbent. They finally sent me a new cartridge due to it being only two weeks old. I gave them a couple months and purchased another one and it is the same issue.
